Bounce wanted to increase bookings across their venues. While ping pong was already core to their brand, the challenge was showing that Bounce offered much more, including shuffleboard, Wonderball, and special themed nights. The task was to create ads that captured the high-energy, playful spirit of the brand while making it easy for people to book online.

The strategy

The strategy was twofold. First, lean into the events calendar to promote themed nights, brunches, and seasonal activities that gave people a reason to book at specific times. Second, highlight the breadth of games available beyond ping pong to position Bounce as a versatile entertainment experience. Bold typography, playful visuals, and a consistent “Book now” call to action kept the ads fun but conversion-focused.

My role

I worked as a digital designer focused on paid advertising. I supported campaign strategy and creative direction, then designed the ad creatives that showcased both events and alternative games to drive bookings.

The approach

I created paid ad creatives tailored to both event-led and game-led messaging. Event ads used bold type, glitter textures, and playful imagery to promote seasonal hooks such as Valentine’s Day, Six Nations screenings, or drag brunches. Game ads spotlighted alternatives to ping pong, such as beer pong, shuffleboard, and Wonderball, with dynamic visuals and punchy taglines that amplified the energy of the venue.

The result

The campaign helped increase bookings by showing Bounce as more than just a ping pong venue. Event-led ads drove strong spikes around key dates, while game-led creatives broadened the appeal and encouraged new audiences to book for a wider range of activities. Together, the ads captured Bounce’s playful personality and converted it into measurable growth in bookings.
