Smiling Wolf was entering the market as a new non-alcoholic spirits brand with a unique proposition: functional, nootropic blends that still give a buzz. The challenge was to educate consumers about this new category and present the brand as a credible premium option. The advertising also needed to capture attention and drive conversions in a competitive space.

The strategy

The website design placed emphasis on product storytelling, clear communication of benefits and a premium brand feel. For ads, I produced a mix of native UI-inspired executions for relatability alongside designs with bold headlines and highlighted USPs to communicate Smiling Wolf’s point of difference.

My role

I designed and built the full Shopify website from scratch, ensuring it felt premium and aligned with the brand’s positioning. I also created the ad creatives for digital campaigns, producing a range of executions that could be tested across social platforms.

I designed a fully custom Shopify site that balanced premium aesthetics with clear product education. Product pages were structured to highlight benefits such as the nootropic blend, alcohol-free credentials. For digital ads, I created multiple visual approaches including native UI formats and lifestyle-led designs so the brand could test and learn what resonated most with its audience. Retargeting and subscriber-focused creatives were part of the mix to help increase conversions.

The result

Smiling Wolf launched successfully as a premium non-alcoholic spirits brand. The ads resonated particularly strongly with women aged 45+, and retargeting creatives generated the best results in terms of purchases. The website gave the brand a professional, trustworthy presence and positioned it effectively in the growing functional non-alcoholic space.
