Organic India’s UK website was underperforming. The old site lacked personality, a clear brand story and trust signals, while product pages did not follow best practice. Conversion was weak and customers had little reason to increase their basket size.

The strategy

The strategy was to rebuild the site with stronger storytelling and trust elements to make the brand feel more credible and engaging. The design needed to add personality, highlight Organic India’s heritage and values, and optimise the product pages to drive higher conversion. To address average order value, a custom bundle builder was added alongside tailored offers.

My role

I managed the entire project independently. This included strategy, design and full Shopify implementation.

The approach

I reskinned the site using a Shopify template as a base, then fully restyled and restructured it. The homepage was reworked to tell the brand story more effectively and integrate customer reviews for social proof. Product pages were redesigned to follow best practice, making benefits and details clear and scannable. I also designed and implemented a bundle builder, giving customers the option to build their own product sets in a way that encouraged larger orders.

The result

The reskin delivered an immediate uplift. On launch day, conversion rate increased by 90 percent, orders rose by 29 percent and total sales grew by 52 percent compared to the previous period. The bundle builder became a key driver of higher average order value, turning the UK site into a stronger and more profitable sales channel.
